Lent is a period of preparation to celebrate the Lord's Resurrection at Easter. During Lent, we seek a way to deepen our connection with God and to reflect on the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. One way to seek this connection is through almsgiving. By caring for the needs of those around us, we are participating in the merciful work of the Church to provide for members of our community.

Please help St. Peter Food Pantry this Lenten season by donating an item of food each day during Lent. If you cannot donate every day, try just 1 week during lent or 1 item each week during lent. Listed below is a suggested list of food that is needed at the food pantry. Please bring your items weekly to mass and place in the food pantry bin or you can drop off items at the parish office during regular office hours, 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Monday – Friday. Cash donations are used for perishable items bought weekly. We cannot accept expired foods or dented cans.

Our food pantry serves up to 30+ families each week. Your contributions are greatly appreciated!
