Lenten Almsgiving

Lent is a period of preparation to celebrate the Lord's Resurrection at Easter. During Lent, we seek the Lord in prayer by reading Sacred Scripture; we serve by giving alms; and we practice self-control through fasting.

Please help St. Peter Food Pantry by donating an item of food each day during Lent.  Listed below is a suggested list of food that is needed at the food pantry.  Please bring your items weekly to mass and place in the food pantry bin or you can drop off items at the parish office during regular office hours, 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Monday – Friday.  Cash donations are used for perishable items bought weekly. We cannot accept expired foods or dented cans.  Our food pantry serves up to 30+ families with 120+ family members each week.  Your contributions are greatly appreciated!
