WORSHIP MINISTRIES
ALTAR SERVERS
Students who are in 3rd grade and above are eligible for this ministry. Altar servers assist by lighting candles, carrying the cross and candles in procession before and after Mass, and assist the presider during Mass. Training is required and offered at the church.

ART & ENVIRONMENT
This ministry enhances our worship space using various art and decorations to help celebrate Holy Days of Obligation and various liturgical seasons. Knowledge of liturgical season is helpful for this ministry but not required. You can learn along the way.

CANTOR MINISTRY
A Cantor is an important part of the liturgy because they as as a "singer and leader of congregation song." (Sing to the Lord 37). Singing, especially the singing of the congregation, is important in the liturgy because "unity of hearts is attained through unity of voice" (Musican Sacram 5).

CHILDREN'S CHOIR
This ministry is open to children in 2nd - 7th grade. Practice is held on Tuesday evenings on weeks when Faith Formation does not meet. Practice is at 4:30pm - 5:30pm. The children's choir will sing for Mass about once a month. The goals for this ministry are to educate children in music for Mass, learn about Jesus, and to have some fun!

CHILDREN'S LITURGY OF THE WORD
This ministry is offered to children in grades Kindergarten - 3rd at every 9:30am Sunday Mass during the school year. We are always in need of adult catechists to help facilitate this beautiful program. Children are taken out during Mass to hear the Word of God in their own terms and sent back to the Mass after the homily.

EUCHARISTIC MINISTER
This ministry is dedicated to bring the Body and Blood of Christ to all Catholics in a state of grace. This ministry calls for those who are Catholic, in good standing, and active in the practice of faith. Ministers are scheduled for weekend Masses and training is required.

LECTOR
Lectors and commentators participate in the Mass and other liturgical services by sharing the readings and prayers with the people. Their active role enhances the services and makes them more meaningful. Training is required and offered at the church.

SACRISTAN
This ministry carried with it the privilege of overseeing the areas of the sanctuary and sacristy. The sacristan prepares the sacred vessels, vestments, and linens of the Mass. It is necessary for the sacristan to be familiar with the liturgical calendar and its respective seasons.

USHER
This ministry is for parishioners who are welcoming, courteous, helpful, and friendly. They help enhance the worship experience and minimize distractions through seating parishioners, passing the collection baskets and making parishioners feel comfortable.
