BAPTISMAL GARMENT MAKER

This ministry provides a handmade garment which is given to a newly baptized baby. The garment symbolizes the new life of the Holy Spirit given in baptism and welcomes the newly baptized child into the church family.

BIBLE STUDY
St. Peter Damian offers an excellent Bible Study session by our pastor Fr. Chris Ciomek. Bible study meets every Wednesday morning after Mass in the back room of the Chapel.

BIBLIARASAL

St. Peter Damian offers Bible Study in Tagalog, the native language of the Philippines. This Filipino Bible study meets every Friday at Noon in the lower level of the rectory. Please enter through door B2.

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS

The organization was founded as a mutual benefit society for working-class and immigrant Catholics in the U.S. The Knights of Columbus promote the Catholic view on public policy issues, including opposition to same sex marriages, abortion and birth control.

PRAYER SHAWL

Crafters knit or crochet shawls to be given to anyone in time of illness, sorrow, transition, challenge and joyous occasions in life. The crafter begins each shawl with prayers and blessings. Prayers are continued throughout the creation. When complete, the shawl is offered a final blessing before being sent on its way.

RELIGIOUS GOODS

The religious goods room is located in the hallway of the vestibule in Church.
WOMEN OF GRACE

Lectors and commentators participate in the Mass and other liturgical services by sharing the readings and prayers with the people. Their active role enhances the services and makes them more meaningful. Training is required and offered at the church.
