Faith Formation Program

Depending on their grade, students who register attend classes on Tuesday, Wednesday or Saturday. To speak to someone, contact our Faith Formation office at 630-830-2295.

Our grade level Faith Formation program is offered to students in Kindergarten-9th grade.

Sacramental Preparation for Children

St. Peter Damian's policies

 First Communion  - Our First Communion program is a 2-year program that begins in 1st grade. The sacrament of First Communion is celebrated in the spring of 2nd grade.

Confirmation - Our Confirmation program is a 2-year program that begins in 8th grade. Confirmation students are required to attend service projects and retreats as planned by the religious education director. The sacrament of Confirmation is celebrated in the spring of freshman year when all requirements have been fulfilled.

Faith Formation Schedule

Tuesday Evening

The following grade levels meet on select Tuesday evenings:

  • Kindergarten  (4 pm - 5:30 pm)

  • 1st grade (4 pm - 5:30 pm)

  • 1st Communion  (4 pm - 5:30 pm)

  • 3rd - 6th grades  (4 pm - 5:30pm)

  • 5th grade (7 pm - 8:30 pm)

Wednesday Evening

The following grade levels meet on select Wednesday evenings:

  • 7th grade (7 pm - 8:30 pm)

  • 8th grade (7 pm- 8:30 pm)

  • Confirmation (7 pm - 8:30 pm)

Saturday Morning

The following grade levels meet on select Saturday mornings:

  • 1st grade (9 am - 10:30 am)

  • 1st Communion (9 am - 10:30 am)

  • 3rd grade (9 am - 10:30 am)

  • 4th grade (9 am - 10:30 am)
