Outreach Ministries

Bereavement Ministry

The bereavement ministry lends support to family members in times of need immediately after the loss of a loved one with prayer for the mourners at the wake of the deceased.

If you are interested in joining this ministry, contact Deacon Dave at dntsatt@comcast.net.

Food Pantry

Ministers of Care

The food pantry provides food assistance to parishioners and those in the surrounding community. The food pantry is open every Saturday, 9:00am - 11:00am in the lower level of the chapel. For more information, please click HERE.

If you or someone you know is in need, or you are interested in volunteering email foodpantry@stpeterdamian.org.

Ministers of Care are needed to take the Eucharist to those who cannot leave their home or the hospital. Mandatory training sessions offer insight into the manner and procedures needed to exercise in individual circumstances.

If you are interested in joining this ministry contact Joy at ministerofcare@stpeterdamian.org.

When In Need (WIN)

The When in Need ministry provides a helping hand to registered and active parishioners who have fallen on hard times and need urgent assistance with food, housing, utilities, medicine, or other basic needs. Whether or not the ministry is able to help the application, other avenues of assistance are provided.
