OVERNIGHT ADORATION IN THE CHAPEL
Every First Friday of each Month
All are welcome to our Overnight Adoration in the Chapel on Friday, August 7th. Adoration begins at 10:00pm on Friday night and ends at 8:00am on Saturday morning. To signup as an Adoration volunteer, please click on the button below and choose a time that works for you.
THE ASSUMPTION OF BLESSED VIRGIN MARY
Saturday, August 15th at 8:30am
This year the Solemnity of the Assumption of Blessed Virgin Mary is not a holy day of obligation. There will still be a Mass celebrated in the Church on this day at 8:30am. This will be the only Mass we have available for the Solemnity of the Assumption of Blessed Virgin Mary.
ST. PETER DAMIAN PARISH PICNIC
Sunday, August 30th 12:30pm - 3:30pm (Rain or shine)
Join us for our annual parish picnic held in the field across from the chapel. We will have food, games, raffles, and music. This year our local polish deli AJB Deli will be catering the picnic for us. Tickets are $10.00 per person with 2 and younger free. Beverages will be available for purchase. OCIA (THE ORDER OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS)
The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (formerly RCIA) is the process by which people become members of the Roman Catholic Church. The process is concerned with the total formation of the person into:

Believing with the Church community (doctrinal formation)
-
Living with the Church community (practical formation)
-
Praying with the Church community (liturgical formation)
-
Serving with the Church community (apostolic formation)

The OCIA is intended to serve:

The unbaptized who would like to learn more about the Catholic faith
-
Those baptized in another Christian denomination who would like to become Catholic
-
Those baptized Catholic who have not received both Holy Communion and Confirmation​​
