Baptismal Preparation
This program is designed to prepare parents and godparents for the Sacrament of Baptism for their child. The sessions are held monthly in the Rectory Meeting Room, lower level of the Rectory. Baptism is a significant time in a family’s life, recognizing God’s gift of life and renewing their own baptismal promises. Parents learn about their commitment to foster the life of Christ in their children.
More information is available in the sacrament section of the web site
Bible Study
Saint Jerome: Priest and Doctor, Father of Biblical Science, Teacher of Obedience
said these famous words: “Ignorance of Scripture is ignorance of Christ."
St. Peter Damian offers excellent programs for our parishioners to learn about the Holy Scripture.
Please call the parish office or look on the website for these programs.
Children Liturgy of the Word / Adult Leaders
We invite the children at the 9:30 a.m. Mass on Sunday to participate in the Liturgy of The Word for Children. After the opening of the liturgy, children 3 through 9 years old are invited to Hardy Hall. During the time the adult assembly hears the Word of God, the Scripture is presented to the children on their level. After all have heard the Word of God, the children rejoin their parents and the parish community for the remaining celebration.

Faith Formation Elementary
St. Peter Damian’s Elementary Faith Formation Program recognizes and reinforces the understanding that parents are the primary faith educators for their children. Our program seeks to guide and assist families on the important and essential faith journey of their children. By living out the mission of our parish, Learn, Serve, Celebrate and Share our children will become involved and know that they are valued and contributing members of our faith community. Our elementary program is designed for children in Kindergarten through sixth grade. The text books for the children are Finding God published by Loyola Press.
