St. Peter Damian's- Genesis Teen Group


Are you a teen that is 7th-12th grade? Are you wondering what you can do over the summer on Friday nights?  Are you looking to make lasting friendships?  Genesis Teen Group is looking for you!  Our teen group is open to the teens of the parish and community.  You do not need to be Catholic to come and join in on the fun.  Ever Friday is different.  If you have any questions please contact the Coordinator of Youth Ministry, Roxanne Sleszynski by email at ym@stpeterdamian.org or by phone at 630-837-5411.

Come join us every Friday 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm in the lower level of the Rectory.  Bring a friend with too!

Ministry of Care

Archdiocese of Chicago, Vicariate 1 DEF

Fall 2019- Basic Training for New Ministers of Care

This program is designed for persons to be commissioned and mandated as Ministers of Care in their respective parishes to visit and/or take the Eucharist to those who are hospitalized, in nursing homes or confined in private homes.  Full participation in all sessions will fulfill Archdiocesan requirements for mandating.  No walk-ins can be accepted.

When: Saturday, September 21 and September 28, 2019.  Attendance on both Saturdays in required

Gathering: 8:30 am each Saturday.  Personnel will be there to direct you to the sessions.

Please bring you own brown bag lunch each Saturday, coffee and water will be provided.  Please bring this notice as your agenda.  Also bring a note pad and pen to take any personal notes you wish to make.
